Stress
management courses

The
Human Givens approach
gives added dimensions to stress management. Understanding
how the pattern of human needs really works and
the full spectrum of needs we have evolved to meet
them puts the ‘psychological gadgetry’
of many stress management approaches into much better
perspective.
Practitioners in the
area run one day and half day in-house
professional workshops on request. One day public
workshops and short ‘stress buster’
courses for members of the general public are sometimes
also organized. Counsellors can also undertake stress
consultancies with organizations.

N.B. Stress management courses and workshops
provide a great opportunity to find out more about this approach,
though we recommend that people suffering extreme stress reactions
should contact individual counsellors to organize one-to-one sessions.
